Pre-Convention excitment

I am so excited to kick off the Convention today. Last night was fun to go out and get a feel for the energy that is on the streets. I went to the Friends of New Orleans Welcome Party at the convention center and a BBQ that was sponsored by Bresnan Communications and C-SPAN. I was able to get aboard the famous C-SPAN Election 2008 bus. It was fun to sit in the seat that so many other politicians have sat in.
I will be heading to a press availability for the Youth Council this morning after the delegation breakfast where I will be speaking on the importance of the youth vote and how the change we can believe in is being manifest in the fact that the youth across America have increased their vote by FOUR TIMES over the past voting cycle. That doesn't just happen by accident.
Tonight's event is all about One Nation. The primetime speaker will be Michelle Obama and there will be several other speakers. I will give a full report either tonight or early tomorrow morning.

It All Begins...

I have finally arrived here in Denver. The weather is beautiful and there couldn't be a better backdrop for the convention. I again want to thank all of your support to allow me to be here and participate in this historic convention. As I promised to many of you at the convention, I will try to post in this blog the events of the convention and try to bring it home to those in Utah. If you have any suggestions feel free to contact me, after all, this convention is about all of us. Check back throughout the week!
